Interstate Regional Stockyards market report — October 20, 2026
Cuba, MO · Tuesday sale · USDA report published 10/20/2026 · Sale days
Last year 615
vs last week +10.86
Compared to last Tuesday, steers and heifers steady on a limited test. Slaughter cows steady. Demand good. Light run with mostly smaller packages of calves, some weaned 30-45 days and several still bulls. You never know what's around the corner but market action in the cattle is pretty good at the moment with fed cattle showing some strength last week, feeder futures trending higher and beef cutouts higher Tuesday despite last weeks increased slaughter pace. Cow sale following the feeders featured 14 nice 2nd period A. I. bred heifers.
