Compared to the auction 2 weeks ago 500 -600 lb steer calves were 7.00 to 11.00 higher with no trend stated on yearling steers. Heifer calves were 7.00 to 20.00 higher with yearling heifers 5.00 to 7.00 higher. Today's consignments saw many lots of home-raised, double vaccinated, green calves both LTW'd and just off the cow. Demand was very good for today's smaller supply. Very active internet bidding today. The next scheduled feeder calf auction is 10 - 29 - 26
